Sonic Machine Wonderland

Sonic machines powered by DC motors and solenoids inspired by the of amusement park rides (an octopus bounce, a merry-go-round) turning motion into music. Sounds are generated in Ableton, while the physical speed of the machines can be adjusted for interactive play. The installation captures the joy and energy of amusement parks, showing how music and motion are inseparably linked to the thrill of these spaces.
